Welcome to Pickle Palooza II, A Briny Bash!

 

The largest pickle festival in the Southeast organized by Red Devil Events is returning on Saturday, September 20th!

 

Get ready for a day filled with picklelicious fun at one of Charleston’s newest large-scale venues. Not a pickle lover? No worries! In addition to enjoying a day of live music, we’ll have plenty of regular dish options as well!

Get ready for a *brine*-tastic experience as we celebrate all things pickles. Whether you’re a pickle enthusiast or just curious to explore the tangy world of pickles, Pickle Palooza is the perfect event for you! This will be a festival-style atmosphere with live music featuring multiple bands/DJs, food trucks, beer tents, liquor vendors, games, and more. Keep reading to see a complete breakdown of our current planned vendors and activities.

 

And did we mention Pickleball? Yes! We are thrilled to include Pickleball as a way to build the community and spread the love of the game! We will have temporary courts, coaches, and experienced players on hand to help folks get a taste for the game as well as introducing local Pickleball clubs and companies to the public.

TICKETS:

We will have general admission and VIP tickets for this event. VIP tickets will include an all-inclusive bar. Each batch of tickets has a limited number of tickets. As tickets sell out or as the event gets closer, prices will increase. BUY EARLY!

 

General Admission:

GA tickets include entry and pickle sampling tickets. Each batch released will have a price increase, buy early.

You must bring a valid ID and be 21+ if you plan on drinking at this event. There is limited free parking at the venue. We encourage guests to carpool, Uber, or Lyft, especially if you plan on drinking. We may add additional parking and shuttles closer to the event date.

 

This is a family-friendly event. Children 8 and under will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by their parent/guardian.

CHANGES FROM 2024:

  • All ticket holders (GA and VIP) will receive pickle sampling tickets upon entry
  • We’re adding a “Clash of the Cukes” aka the best pickles in Charleston competition. You will use your sampling tickets to taste different takes on pickles from 20 local restaurants and vote for one winner, The Brine Boss!
  • VIP ticket holders will NOT have a designated area this year
  • VIP ticket holders WILL be allowed to get their beverages from anywhere at the festival to minimize lines
  • We will have multiple indoor facilities this year if you need to cool off
  • Due to overwhelming demand, we’re adding multiple rounds to our pickle eating competition and brine chug
  • We expect to have a minimum of 30 vendors this year
  • We will have more parking available than in 2024. Our parking lots and street parking will be FREE. However, we still encourage guests to carpool or use Uber/Lyft
  • Everyone’s favorite mascots, Dillbert & Briney Spears will return, along with the pickle gladiators!
